These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of memora.directory ("Memora", "we", "our", "us"), including our website, web app, and browser extension. By using Memora, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Overview

Memora helps users save, organize, and manage bookmarks, notes, and related content. We may update features, limits, and functionality over time.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You are responsible for activities performed using your account.
• You must provide accurate account information.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Memora, including:

• Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempting unauthorized access to systems or data.
• Disrupting service availability or security.
• Uploading malicious code or abusive content.

4. Plans, Pricing, and Payments

Memora offers Free and Pro plans. Current Pro pricing is listed on our pricing page (currently USD $49/year, billed annually).

All payment processing, subscription billing, and taxes are handled by Paddle. By purchasing a paid plan, you also agree to Paddle's checkout and billing terms.

5. Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds

Subscription management (including cancellation, billing updates, and invoices) is provided through Paddle's customer portal links sent after purchase. Refund eligibility is governed by applicable law and Paddle's policies/processes where relevant.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you save in Memora (bookmarks, notes, tags, boards). You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, back up, and display your content to operate the service.

7. Sharing and Responsibility for Shared Data

Memora may provide sharing features that let you share bookmarks, notes, boards, or related content through links or access controls. You are solely responsible for what you share and who you share it with.

• Anyone with shared access may be able to view the shared content.
• You should only share content you are authorized to share.
• You should not share sensitive, confidential, or restricted information unless appropriate safeguards are in place.

8. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Memora available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

9. Termination

You can stop using Memora at any time and may delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or abuse of the service.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Memora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or business arising from use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we update them, we will update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Memora after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
